Breed Standards
- Head/Neck- The head is of medium length and well proportioned. They have a slightly sub-convex profile and a slightly curved forehead. The eyes are usually big, alive, expressive and confident. Ears are of medium length. The neck is of medium length, rising up arched from the withers without being convex, ending at a narrow and fine junction with the head.
- General Conformation- They are middleweight and have a sub-convex profile. They stand around 15.1 - 15.3 h. The horse has a short, strong back and sloped, rounded croup. The withers are well defined. The shoulders are muscular and sloping, and they have a deep, broad chest.
- Legs/Feet- The forelegs are muscled and inclined. The upper arm is straight and muscular. The thigh is normally short and muscular, and the hind legs form relatively closed angles. The hooves are well formed and proportioned.
- Temperament- Noble, generous, ardent and always gentle. They are also very intelligent and have a willing nature.
- Color- The horse usually comes in gray, bay or chestnut, though can be found in any solid color such as black, dun or palomino. Grays and bays are the most esteemed. NOTE: I will accept Sabinos that are minimal (face markings not past the eye, stockings allowed)
